Getting nowhere

Doing it day after day,
living from paycheque to paycheque,
that is how we want it to stay,
getting nowhere, going nowhere

Every morning the same faces,
the neverending routine,
heading for the same places,
it's the circle of the life we live

This is the world we live in,
every day like a deja-vu,
we should just throw it in the bin,
again and again, over and over


Going through life never thinking,
everyday following the rules,
never letting it sink in,
no tomorrow, no tomorrow

Standing up, looking down,
everybody in a hurry,
our shallow life makes me frown,
people to meet, places to be.

Thinking of this makes me sad,
questioning where it all went bad,
wondering what life we might have had,
we are all living in this mad World


Yes this was very much inspired by the song Mad World by Tears of fears

Harmony and inner peace

Going through life
avoiding confrontation,
when we really should
search for salvation,
religion doesn't matter
confess your every sin,
because redemption can
only come from within,
we all have our
cross to carry,
we all have our
skeletons to burry,
beware the dark side
you will have to fight,
in your neverending
search for the light,
when you finally find
that precious inner peace,
it is only up to you
for the moment to seize,
look inside youself
for your saving grace,
you will always be
worthy of a praise!

Free fall

In free fall
like paragliding
feeling the air in your face
no parachute
no hope to be saved
falling like a stone
a crack in the ground
is your last purpose in life


falling faster
makes you feel alive
maybe just for a second
flying like a bird
just for a moment
the ground is getting closer
feeling intrigued
just for a time


now scared to death
feeling passes
suddenly in peace
impact is inevitable
getting closer and closer
this will hurt

it is over
no more pain
no more happiness

The seasons of love

In the spring you warm my heart when chilly,
your happy thoughts and beautiful smile keeps me dry when raining,
the first sun rays makes you sparkle like the princess you are,
your beautiful presence makes even the early blooming flowers pale in comparison,
our love is new and wonderful as ever,
you are the center of my universe,
better times are in front of us, the love is starting to grow,

In the summer you keep me cooled when overheating,
your gorgeous presence makes me happy to be alive,
your eyes makes me fully appreciate the wonderful life,
the smirky smile on your face tells me that I've found the one and only,
the sun illuminates us and leads us on adventures,
just you and me in the captivating nature,
could life be any better?

In the fall you remind me to bring a sweater,
the ever changing colours reminds me of changes in life,
everything alternates over time,
except our never ending love,
your wonderful smile make me for a second forget that winter is ahead,
your beautiful eyes beam with happiness and I feel richer just being in your presence,
Even your laughter about my failed pumpkin pie warms my heart,
and i know that this is how true love feels like,

In the winter I know my angel will keep me warm,
the sparkle in your eyes tells me that everything is gonna be alright,
you keep my spirit up when I get depressed about the weather,
your beautiful eyes makes me forget about the bad things going on in the world,
your smile tells me that better things are just around the corner,
everything outside might be depressing but I'm still happy,
Because I know I will have my true love by my side for eternity.
