Getting nowhere

Doing it day after day,
living from paycheque to paycheque,
that is how we want it to stay,
getting nowhere, going nowhere

Every morning the same faces,
the neverending routine,
heading for the same places,
it's the circle of the life we live

This is the world we live in,
every day like a deja-vu,
we should just throw it in the bin,
again and again, over and over


Going through life never thinking,
everyday following the rules,
never letting it sink in,
no tomorrow, no tomorrow

Standing up, looking down,
everybody in a hurry,
our shallow life makes me frown,
people to meet, places to be.

Thinking of this makes me sad,
questioning where it all went bad,
wondering what life we might have had,
we are all living in this mad World
